Music Together® Mixed Ages

Each week in Music Together Mixed-Age Classes at Tiny Toes Music, babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grownups who love them gather for 45 minutes of fun-filled family music time. Your teacher will lead you and the other families in music activities ranging from lullabies to full-on jam sessions (with child-friendly instruments, of course!). It's so much fun you won't realize how much learning is taking place!

You'll take home the award-winning music used in class, along with an illustrated songbook and other resources. As you discover new ways to play with music all week long, you'll be supporting your child's music-learning and overall development- even if you don't think of yourself as a great singer or dancer.

Benefit Concert with Uncle Gerry

Open to all Tiny Toes Music families, as well as other families in the community who love to sing and dance, this celebration is a wonderful way to end the Zion ECEC school year and enjoy community music making at the same time! Join us for our fifth annual musical concert events with Gerry Dignan. "Uncle" Gerry is featured on the Music Together CD's given to thousands of families who take Music Together classes worldwide. We are honored to welcome Uncle Gerry to sing and dance with us! The children will be very excited to hear Uncle Gerry's familiar voice. We hope many families will come out and enjoy a fun morning of music!

This very special benefit concert continues our partnership with Lutheran Day Nursery, which serves low income families in Humboldt Park and Logan Square. We are so excited to have the ability and opportunity to "pay it forward" and support the Music Together curriculum in another long established school that is deeply committed to the development of children and their families. Through your contributions, Tiny Toes Music, in partnership with CLEF, provides Music Together Preschool classes to the children at Lutheran Day. Because CLEF is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) organization, fully underwritten by its board members, every dollar donated is tax deducible and will be used to support Music Together at Lutheran Day. Suggested minimum donation: $15

In addition to recording for Music Together, Gerry has worked and recorded with Grammy-nominated cellist, David Darling, and has contributed to the work of Music for People, an organization dedicated to self-expression through improvisational music. Gerry is also a seven-year member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus and has traveled with the CSO to perform at the Concerthalle in Berlin as well as Carnegie Hall in New York City.
